Some History of Longview Church of God

• After the previous pastor left, Longview decided to go through Transitional Interim Pastor Services (TIPS) to enlist a trained interim pastor to help prepare the congregation for a fruitful future in impacting their community for Christ. TIPS guides the congregation through a process of evaluations to assist the congregation in understanding how to become a healthy and fruitful church. Lane and Karen Fosnaugh are the TIPS pastors who are guiding the congregation through their journey. Their assignment to Longview terminates soon. Longview is ready to seek their next pastor to join them in their journey to love God, love people, and transform their community.
